The Wheatsheaf is an award-winning family and dog-friendly pub in the heart of the Derbyshire market town of Bakewell. We are proud to be part of a small family-run group of businesses in the Peak District.

We serve delicious homemade food seven days a week from breakfast through to dinner as well as an excellent range of soft, hot and alcoholic drinks and Cask Marque-approved ales.

We have built a reputation as a lively, buzzing Bakewell hotspot thanks to our regular live music nights, kids eat free offer, large function space and welcoming atmosphere. The pub is also a prominent location during local seasonal events including Bakewell Carnival and Bakewell Christmas Weekend.
